New York, NY – October 18th, 2024

The Firefighters Health Fund, a new investment fund dedicated to improving the health and wellness of firefighters and first responders, has officially launched.

The Firefighters Health Fund’s foundation was made possible through financing by DHNP Consulting, Inc. and High Financiers, Inc., who mandated by Brains LLC, doing business as Fundlaunch, represented by Bridger Pennington and James Barker.
Driven by the need to address firefighters’ unique health challenges, this initiative brings together key partners in finance, public relations, and community support. Marc Deschenaux, creator of the concept behind The Firefighters Health Fund, Darren Horvath, the financier behind the initiative, and Stephanie Ernst, the public relations expert guiding its communications, shared their insights into this vital cause.

The inspiration for this fund came from Sebastian Raspanti recognizing the significant and often overlooked health challenges faced by firefighters, said Marc Deschenaux, creator of The Firefighters Health Fund idea. Firefighters risk their lives daily, and we must ensure they have access to comprehensive health resources—mental health support, physical rehabilitation, or preventative care. Our goal is to protect those who protect us.

The fund’s primary mission is to provide firefighters with tailored health services, including mental health counseling, screenings for job-related illnesses, and access to state-of-the-art medical care. Recognizing the need for sustainable financial support, Darren Horvath, who facilitated the financing behind this project, emphasized the importance of long-term planning.

Firefighters are the backbone of our communities, yet their health is too often taken for granted, noted Darren Horvath, financier of the initiative. By establishing The Firefighters Health Fund, we’re ensuring that first responders receive the quality care they deserve. It’s a privilege to support this cause, and I’m confident it will make a lasting impact on the lives of many.

The Firefighters Health Fund is set to launch community outreach and fundraising campaigns to increase awareness and build a broad network of support. The fund will also seek strategic partnerships with firefighter organizations, unions, and health professionals to provide seamless access to essential services.

From a communications standpoint, we want to ensure that every firefighter across the nation knows that we’re here for them, said Stephanie Ernst, the Financial Public Relations expert for the Fund. Our goal is not only to provide resources but to make sure firefighters are aware of them and feel encouraged to take advantage of available support. The public should also be aware of these heroes’ health risks and join us in backing this crucial initiative.

Key Focus Areas of The Firefighters Health Fund Include:

  • Mental Health Support: Providing confidential, firefighter-specific counseling and mental health resources.
  • Physical Health Services: Ensuring access to medical screenings, fitness programs, and treatment for conditions related to the profession, such as cardiovascular disease and cancer.
  • Preventative Health Programs: Encouraging early detection and preventative care for job-related risks.

The Firefighters Health Fund invites members of the public and corporate entities to support this initiative through donations and partnerships.
